Dr. Randy Shinaut grew up in El Paso loving animals. For as long as he could remember, Veterinary Medicine was his calling. Working with Veterinarians since the age of fourteen, Veterinary medicine has been his life.
Dr. Randy was blessed with the purchase of Vista Hills Animal Hospital in 1990. Since that time, he has served as the President of the El Paso Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association’s board of directors, and has given scientific talks on the benefits of K-Laser therapy. His current passions and interest include surgery, both soft tissue and orthopedics, internal medicine, and wound healing.
Dr. Randy has also served locally on the Humane Society of El Paso’s board of directors and on the Braden Aboud Memorial Foundation Board. Being involved in organizations in the community has been something Dr. Randy has found rewarding and a way to give back the blessings he has been given. He has been married to a wonderful wife, Susie, and has boy and girl twins, Colton and Kelsey, who have both graduated from Texas A&M University. He has had numerous animals throughout his life, and currently is “owned” by three spoiled dogs at home.
